THE DAWNING is a Witch whose magic comes from deep within their body and spirit... perhaps too deep, given how tricky it is for them to make consistent use of it. They're trying their best, even if it's a slow road to learn and master their power. There's also an aspect of transformation to them - their body is gradually reshaped by the magic within, becoming a conduit, a focus, a guide.
As you might notice, this was lowkey written with trans themes in mind.
Includes standard playbook questions like the YFiW original playbooks, and an Everyday Prompts table with some specificity to the Dawning's themes and experiences for use as a supplement to the base game's Everyday Prompts table.

I love this playbook, the note at the beginning, and the amazing list of writing prompts! You do such a wonderful job describing the way that trans transformation can be slow and steady—both satisfying and frustrating. I especially love the name and familiar options (the phrasing of firefly kin is just wonderful).
